Finding the Dress

So today is Monday, and I am currently at home. I miss my San Diego fam soo much! I had such a blast with them last week.
Well anyways. Today my mom and sister and I went to look for my Sweet Sixteen dress. We went to this one store that makes quincineta dresses. We had a good deal for an aqua dress. But then we wanted to keep looking because we had a budget. So we went to Lakewood mall to go to David Bridal but we didnt see it. Instead we went to Alfred Angelo Bridal, and found this very cute dress! We got an even better deal w. this dress & we got 20% off! Sweeeeeet! Its a sort of blue color w. hints of purple. I took a picture in it today but I wont post it up because I want to post up pictures from my Sweet instead. Im soo excited about the party! I hope it turns out REALLY well! My dress is cutee, and so is my after dress. Im very MUCH satisfied. We have our center pieces and the restaurant were going to do it at. We have invitations left and the guestlist! OHH. And my bestfriend/cousin/ EVERYTHiNG is coming down from Rhode Island in time for my party! And HOPEFULLY my grandma too! Im so excited! This is going to be a BiG day, including that I have to perform in the MLK Parade that day earlierr, Im so amped! I cant wait! My loved ones will be there & those who cant wish me luck! Im so thankful & appreciative that my parents are giving this to me. & that my auntie is such a BiG help. Love them all!

So this is Saturday continued.. this is the final product of Somer doing most of my hair. It came out good & I had fun posing for the camera with auntie. Shes such a great photographer huhh! It was funnn! These are our favorite & best looking ones. The first one is the one im using for the invitations to the party. Cant wait!

Christmas .. Black Friday .. & Saturdaay

So I havent been able to get on here because it gets too late & I didnt wanna update when it was soo late..
But anyways, Christmas day! Well can I say? Christmas was pretty good. I went to sleep soo late Christmas Eve that Christmas morning I didnt even wanna get up! When we all went downstairs we took turns opening up our presents. I got my very own black video ipod ! from mom & dad=D and a sweater from auntie! I also got a wooden sign w. my name painted on it w. flowers and stuff. I didnt get much this Christmas, but I got what I wanted! We all had fun opening our presents, Brooke got the most I think. But she wasnt too excited about opening up her presents. The boys got plenty of gifts including each their very own skateboards w. a dragon on it! Somer got a camera and her 2ND Break of Dawn book. Shes crazy. She told EVERYONE she wanted that & surely enough people got it for her. I guess theres not really much to say because after opening up gifts and stuff I went back to sleep. I slept most of the day! How sad! But I woke up and felt much better. Later on that night, we had dinner and played Pictionary. It was funn! The pictures we draw are hilariousss. Especially Skyler's. Hes so funny.

Black Friday ; Haha. Idont know why I called it that but anyhoos! I forgot to mention that on Christmas, auntie, mom and I were planning out my sweet sixteen in 3weeks. & we came to conclusion that were going to do a mardi gras theme. Well actually mom insisted we did. So on Friday, mom, auntie, Somer and I went to Joann's & Michael's. We got things to make our centerpiece like feathers and awhole buncha feathers. Sparkly silver and gold things. Everything was basically on sale so we bought a lot. Good deals though, I was a little worried that this might not go well because of our low budgets and such. But it turned out fine & our center pieces came out good!

Saturdaaay ; Its Saturday today and Somer is currently fixing my hair. We went to Joanns today to buy some more of the centerpieces we needed. Then after we went to Mission Valley? The shopping center there and got some cute tops from Charlotte Russe. Were planning on going to Balboa Park after and take pictures for the invites. Im excited & hopefully the pictures/invites come out good!

Christmas Eve

HAHA . Today was a good day, I must say! Although last night was pretty crazy.. Lol. Well yesterday mom's work had a potluck. And it was pretty coool, seen my friends. Ate 'til I was full! Then after I found out that my friend from Arizona was visiting and was hanging out at the church. Well I wasnt able to hang out because of last minute shopping, whatta bummer! But anyways, my sister, mom, and I just went to Kohls to do some shopping. Next we went to the dollar store to buy boxes but ended up buying bags instead. Well, the cashier we were at, had no pennies, so she asked us to please try and pay her in pennies. So mom found some pennies in the amount we needed and boy was that lady happy! Hah. Mom even gave her a couple extra pennies for 'Holiday Spirit'. So then we were done and in the car. We were putting the gifts into the bags and realized that the bags were too small, so Somer and I decided to go exchange. But mom wanted to count pennies and give it to the lady. And I was just thinkin like WHY? Mom you dont need to. But she was like 'Ohh, Holiday Spirit'. So Im just like 'uhm okay then..' So she gave it to me and I exchanged the bags. I gave the lady the pennies and was like 'Ohh, Holiday Spirit' and no wonder the lady was looking confused! I didnt get my change. It TOTALLY slipped my mind! I was so in a rush I just forgot. Lol. And mom only reminded me when we were already 5minutes down the block! And she was all yelling at me like 'the store is not poor, okay?!' But like, she didnt tell me she wanted change! I just though 'HOLiDAY SPiRiT' so I was totally focused on that! Hahah. Then the whole ride home, my mom and my sister were making fun of me! What Holiday Spirits, huh! They were like 'were gonna tell this story until we have a better one to tell, Noo. A DUMBER one' likeee ohhgaaassshhhh! ENOUGH ALREADY! Lol.

So basically they already ginxed me. When we got home and were wrapping presents, I took a break. I got up and was sitting on the bed, when Somer noticed a piece of a $13 handmade scarf from Cambodia lying on the floor. And I make sure I put $13 because they kept emphasizing that. I promise you, I did not even notice that I cut that scarf! It was in the bag, on the floor. Yeahh, the piece was by where I was cuttting, but I mean, I didnt even touch it! Like I made sure the scarf was in the bag, I stuffed it in more, but I did not know how I cut that! So that just added to all the taunting I was enduring that night. How fun! NOT. Somer and mom got pretty good laughs though, Somer held up the scarf and showed us the hole. I did not know how that happened, I swear! Lol. and that was part of my 2 Days Before Christmas ..

But enough about that, its still Christmas Eve! and Im here in San Diego w. the familia. Earlier today, my sister, mom and I exchanged Secret Santa gifts w. our missionaries. It sort of tradition, our family and the missionaries doing Secret Santa. Well I had Elder Willie and I gave him a painting of Cambodia. Heres who had who ; Me-Willie. Willie-Somer. Somer-Elder Bylund and Elder Mossman. Elder Bylund-Somer. Elder Mossman-Me. Mom-Elder Bun. Elder Bun-Mom. Kinda confusing.. not really though. After the gift exchange and pictures, we ran a few errands. Including stopping by at mom's friends house in Irvine. Took a little rest there, then got back on the road. It was traffic during most of the ride and we got here at about 6;15ish. The boys waited for us until they ate because we brought fried fish. It was deliciousss, as usual. After we ate, we ready scriptures. The reason why we celebrate Christmas and what gifts represent. We had family prayer. [ A family that prays together, STAYS together. ) And as tradition goes, we opened one present. But the only present we get to open is from Auntie. We all know what she gets us, because she gets it every year. But it always fun and full of laughter because we all know but we just get worked up anyway. Tons of fun! We all get pajamas, every year. Its so funny! Hah. Like we all 'get to choose' which present to open, but we have to open up this one. Lol. So I got a pair of pink pajamas, with stars and teddybears. Pretty cute! After clean up, everyone got in the shower and put on our new pajamas. Auntie rolled out the dough, and we cut the cookies. We played games after too, actually just A game. Sequence. Moms FAVORiTE game that shes been dying to play and we finally found it and bought it last week! So we played, three rounds. It was fun. Even though the last took FOREVERR.. still fun. I was anxious for the game to be over I just came upstairs and laid down and hopped on the laptop. Shame on me! Lol. The boys decorated the cookies for Santa and wrote Thank You letters. And they were sent to bedd. Because auntie saidd, 'Santa doesnt come if youre still awake.' Lol. So Im still lying here now, with mom and Somer. Somers reading Breaking Dawn ( Twilight Series ; the 4th book ] and moms here just being a mom trying to spend quality time with her ovegrown daughters! Hah. 2 Days Before Christmas

WOW ! it really has been TOO long since I've been on here. SORRY GUYS .
But things have been pretty rough lately. Time goes by WAY too fast, & I got caught up in way too many things. School was pretty hectic because of break coming and free time at home was not much. So since break is finally here, I'm going to try my hardest to keep on here daily. Post some pictures up even.
Well its 2 days before Christmas & I'm so excited! I cant wait 'til I go up and visit my family in San Diego! See the kids' tree and aunties! HA! That'll be funn. I dont even know what I want for Christmas .. nothing really. Now that I'm older, I just want money. Lol. Buy my own things that I need. Haha. But this Christmas will be good. I can feeeeeel it. Ya knoww?

Anyways! On Friday, my church had a Christmas Party. It was pretty fun! LOTS of foood. Lots of Thanksgiving food, actuallly. Like turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie.. reminded me of Thanksgiving! Forreals! There were no performances though. Usually the younger kids and older girls do a little dance or play or something. But this year we had an older couple sing a couple of songs and I think the kids just sang one song. But we had a train outside in the parking lot. It was the Polar Express theme by the way. So the kids were in their pajamas, and it was cute! We had Santa come, and Mrs. Clause, gave the kids presents. All very nice. I even got a present as well.

Then on Saturday, I went to State Finals. Since I go to Poly, I wanted to show some school spirit and go to the game. It was Poly Vs. Grant HS from .. up north somewhere. Lol. At the Home Depot Center. It was soooo fun! AHHH. Im so glad I went! I was never really into watching football, because I wouldnt really know what was going on. But this was different, I sat with my bestfriend Natalee's family and it was a blast! She has cousins on the team, so a lot of her family were there supporting. Their all really into the game, and I guess the vibe rubbed off on me! She taught me everything she knows about football and from there, I was hooked! Haha. I was sooo into it, it was funny! I never thought that I would get up and shout and cheer at all, but I did. I guess sitting at the 50 yard mark, and in 5th row helped tooo! Lol. Pretty neat to see the game that clear and everyone around you going crazy! But even with all the support and cheering, Poly lost. It was okay though. The ref's cheated us, and they know it! Polys still number one! We deserved it! But it is okayy. The boys still made history!

Sunday, was a usual Sunday. Wait, noo. Scratch that. Sunday was good as usual, but sundays program was special. We had sacrament, then we had the Young Men and Women sing. After us, the missionaries sang, then relief society. After the older women, we had Primary sing and the Young Women helped. We ended with the congregation singing Silent Night together and it was beautiful! Sunday school was fun too. One of our returned missionaries, Becker shared his favorite Christmas stories with us and made us brownies! Deliciousssss!

Then came along Monday.. pretty boring. Somer and I slept until 2 in the afternooon! We got in the shower then did laundry most of the day. We cleaned the room up too. Well triedd atleast. Stayed home most of the dayy, but went to the gym with mom around 8ish? Yeah, got on the treadmill for 5minutes. Haha. Then went on the stair masters thing for 20. did all these thigh workouts and yeah. Came home and ate & had some BOMBB cookies! Lol. And here I am now writing.

Its 2 Days Before Christmas & I am TOOO excited! Cant wait! Keep in touch!

Day After Thanksgiving

So its the day after thanksgiving & im sitting here watching Remember the Titans!
Wednesday night I went to watch Twilight for the SECOND time & it was grrreattt ! then I came to my aunties house in San Diego & still here now.
Thanksgiving was lots of fun! We had turkey, stuffingg, green bean casserole, corn, rolls, yams, and pumpkin rollllll ! it was SOO GOOOOOD ! we were all SOO FULL ! it was real fun though. we played this japanese game called Jitashu? somethin like that. a magnetic type game. but anyways it was fun. we were all real tired though & i went to bed around eightttishh !
Then todayy, we went shoppinggg. went to forever21 & old navy, got some new jeans & a few shirts. then we went to bloomingdales & macys. then went home because we were sooo hungryy & it was maddness there !
But anyways, yeah. still here at aunties. just sittin here, relaxingg w. the familiaaa . Remember the Titans is one my new favee movies! Ha! i love it !

PR0P 8 PR0TESTS

Soo .. election is overr & proposition 8 passedd ; which states that same-sex marriage is no longer valid or recognized in the state of californiaa . but even a week after , No on Prop 8'ers are still protesting . From LA to Newport to Long Beach . trying to get this overturned and bring it to the Supreme Court .

im not too happy about the protestors this week . it really just seems unneccessary . especially targeting the mormons . when mormons only made up TWO PERCENT of the voters who voted Yes on Prop 8 . no & yes on 8 supporters need tolerance . with these protests goin on, it shows that neither of us have tolerance , & thats sadd . prop 8 has already passedd .. i dont think its right that people are targeting one certain group of peoplee & vandalizing religious places , its just not right . election is overr & i think its only necessary to protest when the next election is close .

Soo pretty much . Obama won . this election was a very BiG election . a HiSTORiCAL eventtt , most definatelyyy ! first time in history that weve ever had an african american candidate for prez & a woman for vice prez . either wayy , HiSTORiCAL !

Soo I guess tomorrows the BiG ELECTiON dayy . Im pretty eager to see who our new prez will be & what propositions passed !

If not , who would you vote for president & WHY ? what propositions would you pass or oppose ?

If i was able to vote , honestly , i dont know who id choose for president . I think id just have to research every thing about the two candidates ; OBAMA or MCCAiN , & see who seems to fit the role of being a leader of the country . im not sure what propositions i would pass or oppose eitherr .. these props are soo controversial nowadays its hard to make a decision to put into our constitution . election o8 is so importantt & i cant stress it enough how important it is to go out & vote . i feel that this year will be an imprint on historyy . this is the first time that we have an african american candidate from such a large political party . & iknow thats going in the textbooks ! lol . well anyways . if you didnt know the props that are trying to get passed , here are some of them switched up to make it seem worse than it is ; [only props 4-10 in CALiFORNiA] [from an OBAMA-BiDEN flyer]

• PROP 4 ; Puts teens at risk. Puts teens in danger by mandating parental notification when a teen terminates her pregnancy.
• PROP 5 ; Provides rehabilitation for nonviolent offenders. Helps non-violent drug offenders recover, instead of locking them up for long periods and wasting taxpaper dollars.
• PROP 6 ; Funds more prisons at the expense of schools. Costs a billion dollars a year and creates new programs with no accountability.
• PROP 7 ; Good intentions, bad energy idea. Misleading proposition deliberately forces most solar energy providers out of business; opposed by major environmental groups and the solar energy industry group.
• PROP 8 ; Eliminates the right to marry for same sex couples. Would change our State Constitution to target one group of discriminatory treatment.
• PROP 9 ; Funds more prisons at the expense of schools. Huge drain on taxpayers that is unnecessary, complex, and duplicates existing law.
• PROP 10 ; A billionaire's get-richer quick energy scheme. Prop 10 is a $10 billion "clean energy" boondoggle, sponsored by a Texas oil billionaire who stands to profit if approved.

Soo . have you got an idea about the props ? depending on your perspective it can be as negative as this flyer made the props seem or as good according to your morals . you decide . its your time for your voice to be heard . VOTE . ELECTiON 08 .

HALLOWEEN WEEkENDD .

This year my Halloween went so-so . It rained Halloween morning which pretty much killed my moood . The whole dayy felt like it WASNT even Halloween . no type of candy from any teachers which whompeddd ! But in the night , it went gooood . I went over to my [SiSTERR] Sarahs house w. [SiSTER] Sophiaa . & we all went out w. Sarahs family . We went to Bixby Knolls & didnt get much candy there . So we went to Myrtle Ave . On the news it had said there was a haunted house / maze thingyy there & it was pretty good . So the girls & I waited in line , while the rest of the family went trick or treating . Then we all waited in linee . Which felt like foreverrrrr . & When we finally went it . it was SOOOO worth itt ! This maze went all around the house & it was gooood . REAL scaryy . when i went to Knotts Scary Farm it was nothin compared to this house ! lol . seriouslyy .
well after that . we all went back to Sarahs . then went homeee .

Saturdayy ; November Firsttt
it was Sarahs birthdayy party . It was her birthday the monday that just passed so we celebrated it on saturdayy . It went welll . had funnn . laughingg & eattting w. everyonee . met lots of new peoplee ! was all gooooodd (:

Sundayy ; Fast Sundayy @ Churchh
Unfortunately, i didnt fast . But church went well also . all the testimonies that people beared were wonderfulll <3 its great to see everyone up therre ! sundayy class w. good too . took lotts of pictures w. kianas camera soo hopefullyy some will be posted uppp ! we had a lesson about fastingg . but our teacherr , elder beckerr , brought us browniess . he wanted to see if we were faithful to the fast & left the room . w. all the brownies & milkk , of course we ate it ! then he came in & told us after we ate that he had put laxcitive in the browniess ! soo everyone felt sicckkkkkk ! but then after he told us that it was only to teach us a lesson . thank goodness though , he was just kiddingg . young women went wellll ! learned a lesson about God as a standarddd . after churchh , just came home & took a veryy longg napp ! it was the BESTT . & here i am now . fixing my blogg . soo toodles for now ! be back on here laterrr <3

If you could ..

If you could go anywhere in the world , where would you go ? And WHY ?

If i could go anywhere in the world , Id have to sayy .. Tahiti . Because I just absolutely loooveee tahitian dancing & think its beautiful ! I think itd be the bestt thing in the worldd to go there & perform myself :) Thats one thing Id loove to doo before I dieee . Tahiti just seems soo calm & soothing Id like to be there & enjoy the island .

But if i could choose someplace else Id go , it would be somewhere where family is<3. And if not all my family, most of my family. All of my family ; together . in one place . Thats where id LOOVEEE to be if i could go anywhere in the worlddd . It wouldnt have to be anywhere exotic or anything. just someplace where we can all be together & love one another . aahhh ! thatd be the besttesttt ! and just because i lovee familyy . and family timee is priceless . without familyy, i dont know where id be . theyve brought me upp, help mode who i am todayy . family is the number one thing i value & id lovee to just go anywhere aslong as im with familyy .

well i was just on a blog that i followw . for girls . & i came across an entry about confessions . & i thought that was pretty neat , you know , just because . that girl was just tellin the truthh & yeaahs . EVERYone & ANYone can view it . & its pretty latee & im really sleepy & tired so thats what im gonna do tonighttt .
